Every Outrage piece begins as a scribble — an idea caught in a bench notebook before it disappears. Some come from the archives of classic London jewellery. Most come from you: the DMs, the comments, the pieces our community asks us to build.
We sketch, argue, redraw and cut. Only a handful of drawings ever make it off the page.
Roughly 1 in 10 sketches survives the notebook. The rest stay as pencil ghosts.
The chosen sketch is rebuilt in 3D, where we obsess over the details you'll feel rather than see — how a Cuban link rolls on the wrist, how a signet sits flat against the knuckle, how a clasp clicks shut and stays shut.
We print and wear test pieces for weeks. If it snags a jumper or spins on the finger, it goes back to the screen.
Wear-tested first. Nothing goes to casting until the team has lived in it.
This is the moment a drawing becomes an object. We work in marine-grade 316L stainless steel — the same alloy used in dive watches and surgical tools — chosen because it doesn't tarnish, doesn't fade and doesn't fear water.
Each piece is cut, formed and finished in gold or polished steel. Fresh off the bench it's raw, rough and full of promise. That's where the real work begins.
Why 316L? Shower in it, train in it, swim in it. It keeps its colour and shine for life.
Filing, soldering, setting, polishing — hours of handwork turn raw castings into the piece you'll wear every day. Our makers know these designs by feel; they can tell a link is right before they can see it.
